9/28 Chris Ringland In-Store Tasting

Join us for an in-store tasting on Saturday, September 28th from 3:00 to 5:00 where we will be opening up the new wines by Barossa legend Chris Ringland!

Born and raised in Auckland, Chris Ringland started his winemaking journey as a teenager after discovering an old recipe book; he’d often harvest backyard vines with his schoolmates. Chris eventually made his way to the Barossa Valley where he worked with Robert O’Callaghan at Rockford wines over 18 vintages. His first solo project, Three Rivers Shiraz (now Chris Ringland wines) garnered international acclaim in the 1998 vintage.

Chris delved into winemaking projects in California, Italy and Spain before expanding his scope in the Barossa Valley. In 2006, he partnered with Adrian Hoffman and Ringland Vineyards to establish Hoffmann Vineyard. With Shiraz plantings across a number of vineyards, including some from 100 year old vines, his wines continue to command international praise.

Led by Chuck Hayward, we will taste through four Shiraz wines, each from a different vineyard site in Chris’ portfolio at Tribeca Wine Merchants.
