From Pol Roger UK. Tasted blind. Pale to mid gold and a bit darker than the 2000 in magnum. Toasty and creamy. Lightly honeyed with a touch of cedar. Very tight on the palate and high acid. Still has plenty of fine mousse. Little bit of spice on the palate, only gently toasty. With time this really tightens up on the palate and seems younger, quite powerful and great length. Power and precision. My guess: 2000 in bottle. (JH)
