Latricieres is one of the cooler sites in Gevrey, which was a big help in preserving freshness in 2009. A long, intense finish rounds things out in style. This is a superb wine from Rossignol-Trapet. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2029. David and Nicolas Rossignol began harvesting on September 12th. They used a fair amount of whole clusters, ranging from 33% or so for the 1ers up to 50% for the Grand Crus. The wines saw 14-21 days of cuvaison. After debourbage, the wines were racked into oak, roughly 15% new barrels for the villages, 33% for the 1ers and 50% for the Grand Crus.
