WishlistTasting Notes
Vinous 90
Attractive lemon-limey lift on the nose. Fine-grained and supple but more energetic and backward than the Forêt, offering nicely concentrated flavors of sweet peach, apricot and ripe citrus fruits enlivened by dusty stone. Finishes with good length and verve.
Anticipated maturity: 2016-2022
Robert Parker 91
The 2013 Chablis 1er Cru Montmain has a detailed bouquet with cold flint and even blackberry-leaf scents that are beautifully defined. The palate is fresh and vibrant with a keen acidic thread, driving citric notes with a slight walnut tinge on the tensile, orange rind finish. This lingers long in the mouth and should age better than the Forets ’13.
Anticipated maturity: 2016-2028
