Alexandrine Roy joined Phelps Creek as Director of Winemaking from Domaine Marc Roy, in Burgundy, where she is the owner. The fourth generation vigneron continually amazes with her timeless techniques steeped in French tradition. The collaboration began serendipitously as she and the founder of Phelps Creek, Bob Morus, met at the International Pinot Noir Celebration in 2007. Both site’s terroirs were so similar it inspired a winemaking partnership. Originally brought on to produce this special cuvée from the best estate Pinot Noir, her role has expanded to contributions reflected in all of the wines.
