WINE PRODUCER

Taittinger

Founded in 1734 and reestablished under the Taittinger family in the 20th century, Taittinger is one of Champagne’s most elegant Chardonnay-driven producers. Headquartered in Reims, the house is known for its extensive holdings in top Grand Cru vineyards, with a style defined by finesse, lift, and precision. Long aging on lees and a delicate hand in the cellar yield wines that emphasize purity over power, offering a refined counterpoint to more robust expressions of the region.

The range is anchored by Brut Réserve, a classic non-vintage blend, alongside the vintage cuvée Brut Millésimé and the acclaimed Prestige Rosé. At the pinnacle sits Comtes de Champagne, produced only in exceptional years from Grand Cru Chardonnay (and, more rarely, Pinot Noir for the rosé), showcasing the house’s signature elegance and aging potential. Across the portfolio, Taittinger’s wines are celebrated for their balance, clarity, and graceful longevity.
